Hi! I’m Isabel.

My mother’s family escaped socialism when she was a kid. My husband escaped socialism when he was 11 so he wouldn’t be drafted into that military when he was 12.

We know, without a doubt, how important it is for a society to keep critical thinking at the forefront while never forgetting the importance of having a close community surrounding you and your family.

Fourteen years ago, we were warned that the government schools in this country were done. We needed to either homeschool our children or send them to a good private school.

We had our eyes on a few micro schools, but with all of our moves, we never had one of them around us and so we homeschooled. Fast forward to the covid pandemic and we started talking with other families about starting a micro school. A few ideas were had and now we’re getting ready to open one of our own in August!

So welcome to our little micro school that’s based on a love of freedom, critical thinking, self-directed learning, and true community like how people who still live in tribes & villages parent and work together.
