Quests

AKA projects they’ll be working on in the afternoons.

These are real examples from quests homeschoolers have completed.

Each spring we’ll partner with our local Children’s Entrepreneur Market and give learners six weeks to come up with a service or product to design, market, and sell! This quest will culminate with selling (most likely on a Saturday) at a market and then reflecting on how their product, salesmanship, market research, and marketing went.

Middle School MBA

This award winning program is fantastic at teaching children as young as 10 about business and economics. This will be divided into two quests for our Adventure Workshop as they become intensely invested in all things business…before ever finishing an undergraduate program!

Design a Theme Park

This summit workshop quest will require learners to design a key rollercoaster and working model. Marketing, design of the park, selling, and market research will all be required.

The final product will be a presentation of their designs and working models to family, learners, and engineers who know this industry.

Historical Reenactment

Learners will dive into history by researching, planning, and conducting a historical reenactment. This interdisciplinary project will encourage learners to explore various aspects of the past, including historical events, figures, clothing, and cultural contexts.

Through their reenactment, learners will gain a deeper understanding of the past and its relevance to the present.

Futuristic Town

This quest encourages learners to think outside-the-box about a town based on organic mini-ranches, walkable third spaces, sustainability, and community. It fosters collaboration, research skills, and real-world problem-solving, allowing learners to gain a deeper understanding of the challenges and opportunities in creating a better future for our towns and the environment.
